You can't afford to be trashy!
Spearheaded by WWC's Garden Club, the anti-littering poster and essay contests are back for their third year!
Designed to bring environmental awareness to minds of all ages, the contests tap into students' creativity and problem solving abilities. The goal is to empower students and give them an avenue to offer up their thoughts and solutions for the persistent littering issue in the city of Westfield. Young people have the option to write an essay or create a poster to express their views on this year's theme: You Can't Afford to be Trashy! Students can submit their entries, along with their permission sheets, to their school's main office.
DEADLINE IS APRIL 15th. Cash prizes will be awarded.
