The Westfield Woman's Club is home to a dedicated Garden Club. In addition to maintaining the gardens at the WWC Clubhouse, members of the Garden Club continue to find ways to bring environmental awareness to the whole community. Their nationally recognized anti-litter campaign has helped shape local legislation and their anti-litter contests foster stewardship of the environment to Westfield students.
The 4th year of the anti-litter contest heralds the simple message:
Respect Westfield.....Don't Litter!
The contest includes two different avenues for students to express their thoughts on the environment, through creating a poster or writing an essay. Participants may submit their entries, along with the completed permission slip, to their respective school.
Permission slips can be found here
DEADLINE IS THURSDAY, APRIL 16th
