WWC Takes a Stand against Litter

For some time, the WWC Garden Club has been an active voice against littering in Westfield. Led by Sandi Gil, the club spreads the message that keeping our town beautiful is the responsibility for the entire community.

This year, the Garden Club invites students to join their mission and use their voice or their artistic skills to promote litter prevention in our town. The poster contest, using the theme, "Think Before You Toss" is open to 7th and 8th graders. In addition, a first annual essay contest open to high school students, will involve the theme "Open Your Eyes To Litter". Winners of each contest will receive cash prizes.

The deadline for both contests is April 11th.
